Best pizza in Curitiba! We have been travelling all around South America for 4 months and Gea Pizza is not only the best pizza we have tried but also the most friendly and welcoming restaurant we have visited on our travels! The owner Victor and his girlfriend Isabella were so accommodating and kind when we visited that we came back a second time the next night and had an even better time. The pizza dough is amazing and the quality of the ingredients used is of such a high standard. You can tell how much time and effort has gone into every detail.
This pizzeria takes pride in its sourcing, preparation, and the styles of pizza it offers its customers. The owner and managers are very welcoming and can help you in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. They have traditional styles of pizza as well as their own pizzas with interesting combos of toppings. I had mushroom, olives, and artichoke hearts.
Gea pizzeria is already one of the best pizzerias in Curitiba and they've been open less than a year. I'm excited for what the future holds for them. My favorites are the pepperoni (regular or american) and the burrata pizza - ask if they have homemade pesto available. The crust is naturally leavened for a few days, making it tasty and light. The pizza is easy to digest. The tomatoes are imported from Italy and the ingredients in general are high quality. Dine in or takeout, try Gea, you wont regret it. I love the service here. Pedro, Victor, Nicole and the rest will make you feel at home. Pleasant atmosphere and reality nice people. Highly recommended! Buon appetito!
This is a stylish and quaint pizza place! They have excellent service and great recipes. They are very accommodating and you'll get great service. If you're traveling from an english speaking country they have people on hand to help you with your order. They were very nice and in our visit to Curitiba we returned several times for their excellent pies.
Our family had amazing pizza at Gea! Viktor is doing incredible artisinal pizza out of this little shop. We had both a margarita and one of their special creations (picked red onion, catipury with pepper jelly) which were excellent. The quality of the crust is exceptional. The ingredients were all top notch. The wine list was clearly well put together. We can't recommend it highly enough!
